Yes, always. Bowlers and parents never pay for using the app. They can view leaderboards, register for tournaments, and access their profiles at no cost.
When bowlers pay entry fees online through Stripe, a small percentage goes to the platform. The rate depends on your plan: 5% on Free, 3% on Pro, and 0% on Premium. A $2.00 processing fee is also added to each online transaction to cover payment processing costs — this is charged to the bowler and shown as a separate line item at checkout.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new features. When you downgrade, you keep your current plan until the end of the billing period.
You'll see a prompt to upgrade your plan or pay the $5 per-tournament fee. Your existing tournaments are never affected.
No. Cash payment tracking is available on all plans, including Free. The platform commission only applies to online Stripe payments.
